Potential Allergens

At Molly’s Suds, we make ingredient integrity our #1 priority during the formulation of every product. We go to great lengths to ensure that all of our ingredients are sourced responsibly. However, we recognize that some of the ingredients in our products are derived from sources of potential allergens.

We have compiled the following information to help you avoid any known allergens in our products. Please understand that some ingredients are sourced from multiple renewable plant sources and these may vary from batch to batch.

Are your products gluten free?

We do not certify our products to be 100% gluten free. We do not source any specific gluten ingredients and cannot certify that they have not been manufactured near gluten or gluten derived ingredients. Our Original Laundry Powder, Super Powder, and Oxygen Whitener are not manufactured on any shared equipment and do not contain any gluten or gluten-derived ingredients.

Are your products soy (or soy lecithin) free?

We do not certify our products to be 100% soy free. Our Original Laundry Powder, Super Powder, and liquid products do not contain soy or soy lecithin as an ingredient.

Are your products peanut free?

None of our products contain peanuts. We cannot certify that our ingredients are not manufactured near or on shared equipment with ingredients that may contain peanuts. No other tree nuts are used in our ingredients; however we do use coconut in some products.

Do your products contain corn, coconut, or palm oil?

Yes, many of our products do contain renewable plant and vegetable oils that are derived from corn, coconut, or palm oil.

A note about corn, coconut, and palm oil in our finished products. Many of these ingredients are derived from these renewable sources and contain very little if any of the actual plant materials in the final ingredient. When using these ingredients in our formulated products your risk of absorbing them through your skins barrier is obsolete since they wash away clean, leaving no residue or trace on the actual fabrics in your laundry. Should they come in contact with your skin we recommend washing your hands thoroughly.

Is your palm oil harvested sustainably?

We do use Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil in some of our products. We source our Palm Oil products from sources that are certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The companies that harvest the palm oil follow a very strict Palm Sourcing Policy for palm oil products which includes the protection of forest and peatland. Ingredient suppliers drive the traceability of the oils to the mill level and support smallholder farmers. Our suppliers support initiatives to reflect an integrated land use planning for oil palm development that includes the conservation of high carbon stock forests and peatlands. The suppliers have integrated additional forest conservation requirements regarding high carbon stock and peatland into our Palm Sourcing Policy (as defined by the High Carbon Stock Approach). Additionally, we have incorporated requirements for a “Free, Prior Informed Consent” (FPIC) as well as labor and human rights into our Palm Sourcing Policy.
